Face-to-Face Class for Kindergarten and Primary students in Kumon Education Centres will be suspended till 7th February since 14th January (Friday)
The Education Bureau announced on 11th January that all face-to-face class for kindergarten and primary school students will be suspended since 14th January and resumed to normal on 8th February. The aforementioned measures are also applicable to the face-to-face class of Schools Offering Non-Formal Curriculum (including Tutorial Schools). Accordingly, all the face-to-face class for kindergarten and primary school students in Kumon Education Centres will be suspended.
Kumon instructors will provide maximum support of home-based learning to students, continuously support students to learn at home and maintain close communication with students and parents.
Home-based learning for kindergarten and primary students from 14th January to 7th February will be arranged as follow:
1. Parents are encouraged to communicate and discuss with our instructors regarding the worksheet exchange arrangement such that students' learning progress will not be affected.
2. Kumon instructors will approach parents for the arrangement of appropriate Distance Instruction mode including phone call, WhatsApp, video call or Face Time etc to ensure close monitoring of students’ learning progress.
We hope that our students stay healthy and happy as well as maintain good learning habit in Kumon study.
Regarding the concrete arrangement of Kumon Class resumption for kindergartens and primary students, we will closely observe the guidelines announced by the Education Bureau from time to time.
