Thank you for your continuous support and trust to the Kumon Method of Learning!
Following the ease of the Novel Coronavirus 2019, the Education Bureau has announced the school resumption arrangements on 5th May 2020. With reference to the relevant guidelines and recommendations, Kumon instructors will proactively contact parents to discuss the necessary arrangements for Kumon class resumption.
To protect the health of our students, all Kumon Education Centres have implemented the following pandemic precautionary measures:
‧ Instructor and all staffs will have temperature check daily and wear surgical masks all the times; ‧ All Kumon Education Centres will be equipped with non-contact infrared forehead thermometer and 70-80% alcohol-based handrub; ‧ Temperature check for all students and visitors upon entry to the centres; ‧ Maintain appropriate distancing between student seats and tables; ‧ Regularly disinfect the classrooms and teaching aids and enhance indoor ventilation; ‧ Arrange an appropriate number of students to study in the centre at a time to reduce the risk of infection.
Meanwhile, you are requested to pay close attention to the followings:
‧ Temperature check of your child before going to the Kumon Education Centre. Students should stay at home and seek medical advice promptly if not feeling well or symptom of fever or respiratory infection is detected; ‧ All students and visitors must wear masks, have temperature check and sterilize their hands with 70-80% alcohol-based handrub before entering the Kumon Education Centre; ‧ Kumon Class’s attendance should be strictly observed according to the scheduled timeslot and child pick up should be arranged on time; ‧ Neither to stay in the classroom for a long time nor gather at the entrance is recommended to reduce the risk of infection; ‧ "Student Health Declaration Form" must be signed and submitted to the Kumon Education Centre upon class resumption; ‧ For those who are required to comply with compulsory quarantine arrangements because of arriving at Hong Kong from foreign places, they must not go to the Kumon Education Centre. Instead our instructors will keep closely monitoring students' learning progress through phone call, WhatsApp, video call, or SMS etc, in order to provide the just-right instruction and advice or even the progress to suit the learning situation of the students.
For any further questions regarding the above arrangements, please contact your respective Kumon instructors during centre opening hours.
